When 28-year-old photographer Malina awakens inside the cramped confines of a car trunk, confusion and panic set in immediately. Bound, bruised, and with no memory of how she got there, her only company is darkness, muffled sounds, and the terrifying realization that the vehicle is in motion. Stripped of control and connection to the outside world, Malina must rely on her instincts, fragments of memory, and whatever resources she can scavenge from within the trunk. But time is running out — and so is air.
As hours turn into a waking nightmare, Malina begins piecing together the night before: a photoshoot gone wrong, a mysterious figure lurking in the shadows, and a cryptic phone call that now seems anything but innocent. Flashbacks begin to blur with hallucinations, raising the question: is Malina the victim of a random abduction — or is she being punished for a dark secret of her own? The car slows. She listens closely. Is her captor alone? Can she escape before they reach their final destination?
In a daring move, Malina manipulates the broken taillight, catching the attention of a highway patrol. But before help arrives, the car swerves off-road into a remote forest, crashing violently. The impact springs the trunk open. Dazed but alive, Malina crawls out, only to find herself deep in the wilderness — and no longer alone. A masked figure stalks her with a knife, whispering her name with unnatural familiarity. The chase begins, but the real horror is just beginning: the forest is filled with twisted traps, as if designed just for her.
In a final twist, Malina confronts her captor in a derelict cabin, only to discover the horrifying truth: this wasn’t a kidnapping, but a revenge game orchestrated by the sister of someone from Malina’s past — someone she accidentally killed in a hit-and-run years ago and never confessed. Now, locked in a psychological and physical fight for her life, Malina must choose: run from her past again, or finally face it. The film ends with her limping toward the highway at sunrise — bloodied, but alive — leaving behind not just a grave in the woods, but the weight of her darkest secret finally unearthed.
