The Divine Fury

Three years after defeating the powerful demon that nearly destroyed Seoul, Yong-hoo, the once-angry MMA champion turned reluctant holy warrior, has learned to live between two worlds—the brutal fight cage and the shadowed battleground of spiritual warfare. But peace doesn’t last. Reports of unexplainable mass possessions surface across Asia, all linked to a secretive cult known as the Black Covenant. This group seeks an ancient relic called The Seraph’s Fang, rumored to grant its wielder the power to control angels themselves. Yong-hoo’s stigmata, a divine mark still etched into his hands, reacts violently whenever the relic is near—drawing him into a deadly race to find it before the cult unleashes a catastrophe.

Father Ahn, his old mentor, warns him that this fight will be unlike any before. The demons they face now are not simply invaders—they are strategists, manipulating governments, crime syndicates, and even the media to mask their presence. Yong-hoo must also confront his own faith, which has been eroded by guilt and loss since Father Ahn’s near-death in their last battle. Joining him is Ji-woo, a former Black Covenant member turned whistleblower, whose knowledge of the cult’s inner workings is invaluable but whose loyalties remain uncertain. Together, they trace the relic’s path through underground auctions, abandoned monasteries, and blood-soaked arenas where fighters are possessed to fuel the cult’s dark rituals.

As the hunt intensifies, Yong-hoo discovers that The Seraph’s Fang is not just a weapon—it’s a key. When activated, it can open the “Celestial Gate,” a rift that would allow an archdemon exiled from Heaven to enter the mortal realm. The Black Covenant’s leader, a charismatic yet terrifying man known as The Prelate, believes unleashing this being will cleanse the world of the unworthy. Every fight Yong-hoo enters is now a battle on two fronts—against human adversaries trained to kill and against the unseen forces that twist their bodies into monstrous vessels. The closer he gets to the relic, the more his stigmata burns, sometimes crippling him mid-battle. Doubt gnaws at him: is the divine mark a blessing meant to guide him, or a curse meant to break him before the war ends?

The Divine Fury' Review

In the explosive climax, the Celestial Gate is opened during a lunar eclipse on the rooftop of the Black Covenant’s fortress. Lightning splits the sky as demonic hordes pour through, and Yong-hoo is forced to fight The Prelate in a savage MMA-style exorcism duel—every blow mixing physical impact with bursts of holy light. Ji-woo sacrifices herself to close the Gate, buying Yong-hoo the moment he needs to shatter the relic and banish the archdemon back to the void. As dawn breaks, the world seems safe again, but Yong-hoo knows the fight is far from over. The final shot lingers on his bloodied hands as the stigmata fades… only for new symbols to burn into his skin—markings no priest has ever seen before.
