It Came from Below

Deep in the forested mountains of rural America, there lies a network of ancient caves, untouched and forgotten. Jessie and her brother Sam return to these shadowy depths after their father—a renowned cave diver—disappeared mysteriously years ago, ranting about something monstrous beneath the surface. Desperate to uncover the truth and clear his name, Jessie convinces a group of friends to join her on a dangerous expedition into the darkness. Armed with lights, ropes, and hope, they descend into the unknown… and awaken something that should have stayed buried.

Perhaps the cave was not discovered... perhaps it was sealed. As her friends fall one by one to the horror from below, Jessie’s determination hardens into something more primal. She must not only face the creature but the legacy her family left behind—one rooted in secrets, sacrifice, and silence.

In the explosive climax, Jessie must lure the creature into a deadly trap—a crumbling chamber lit with the last flare and soaked in fuel. The confrontation is brutal and raw: a battle of instinct, rage, and survival. She escapes barely alive, bloodied and changed forever. As sunlight breaks through the treetops above the cave entrance, she stumbles out—alone, but free. Or so she thinks.
