Centuries after his supposed death at the hands of Van Helsing’s descendants, Count Dracula has returned—not to conquer, but to evolve. Hidden in the dark corners of the Carpathian Mountains, a dormant evil awakens as modern science tampers with forgotten myths.
A global biotech company, SANGREX, funded by secret investors, seeks to exploit vampire blood for immortality. But in doing so, they disturb something far worse than they expected. Dracula’s coffin is unearthed—and with it, the nightmare begins anew.
Dr. Evelyn Voss (Anya Taylor-Joy), a brilliant geneticist haunted by dreams of a bleeding sky and burning crosses, is invited to join SANGREX in Transylvania. Their mission: to decode the regenerative power of a mysterious ancient blood sample found beneath the ruins of Castle Dracula.
She soon realizes the sample belongs to Vlad Tepes, and her arrival coincides with strange omens—dead birds, villagers disappearing, wolves howling in daylight. The night she steps into the crypt, Dracula awakens.
But this is not the monster of old. This Dracula is refined, philosophical, and hungry—not just for blood, but for a world that forgot him.
Act II: Bloodlines Reborn
Back in London, a new wave of brutal, ritualistic murders begins. The victims are all descendants of the original Van Helsing bloodline. Investigating the murders is Inspector Marcus Harker (Oscar Isaac), who finds a hidden journal revealing a prophecy:
“When the Red Moon rises, the blood of the hunter will quench the thirst of the damned.”
Evelyn discovers she, too, is descended from the Van Helsings—and her blood is the key to ending or empowering Dracula’s return. Torn between science and superstition, she must choose whether to help him or destroy him.
Dracula, meanwhile, starts gathering a new court of "Purebloods"—ancient vampires long exiled to the shadows. Among them is Selene, a cunning queen (played by Jenna Ortega), and Valek, a feral warlord (Charles Dance).
They plan to convert the elite of humanity, building a society where vampires rule openly and immortality is bought, not feared.
Dracula offers Evelyn a dark deal: join him and she’ll end sickness, death, and pain for all of humanity. But she sees the deeper truth: his “gift” is a curse of control, addiction, and chaos.
Harker forms a secret alliance with the modern-day Knights of the Cross, descendants of vampire slayers, armed with tech-enhanced weapons and holy relics. Together, they storm a blood-soaked masquerade ball in Vienna—only to find it’s a trap set by Dracula to test his new army.
A ferocious battle erupts. Selene slays dozens with her blade-dancing elegance. Harker barely escapes with his life. Evelyn is captured.
As the Red Moon eclipse nears, Dracula prepares a ritual at the ancient altar beneath Castle Dracula. With Evelyn’s blood, he can become a Daywalker—a vampire immune to sunlight, capable of creating others at will.
But Evelyn, using her genetic research, injects herself with a modified virus—one that can either kill Dracula or destroy her. As the ritual begins, she breaks free and injects Dracula during his transformation.
Dracula’s body convulses—his power growing unstable. In rage and betrayal, he screams, “You were to be my queen.”
Evelyn replies, “And you were meant to stay dead.”
In a cataclysmic finale, the altar collapses as sunlight bursts through cracks in the stone. Dracula, caught in the light for the first time in centuries, begins to burn—but instead of agony, he laughs.
“Death… is but a door.”
He vanishes into ashes, leaving only his crimson ring behind.
Selene escapes into the shadows, vowing revenge. Harker and the Knights destroy the remaining Purebloods and rescue Evelyn, barely alive.
Back in London, Evelyn looks into the mirror, and for a split second—her eyes flash red.
In a hidden lab in Japan, a mysterious figure opens a box containing Dracula’s ring. “Phase Two is ready,” he says. On a monitor, blueprints for cloning Dracula’s DNA appear. Behind him, tanks of artificial blood swirl ominously.
