Avengers: Secret Wars (2027) is the climactic explosion of the multiverse saga—an epic, universe-shattering film that unites heroes and villains from every corner of Marvel’s cinematic history.
After the cataclysmic events of Avengers: Kang Dynasty, reality is on the brink. The multiverse has fractured beyond repair. Entire timelines are collapsing, alternate Earths are merging, and the Time Variance Authority (TVA) has fallen into chaos.
A mysterious force has seized control of the broken multiverse: Doctor Doom—not just a man, but now a god, wielding a weapon called the Beyonder Core, harvested from the remnants of dead universes. With it, he has created a stitched-together world called Battleworld—a planet-sized patchwork of timelines ruled by his iron will.
Scattered across this strange new realm are fractured versions of our heroes—and their variants.
Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), believed to have vanished into the Dark Dimension, returns as one of the few who remembers how the world should be. He discovers remnants of the original Avengers: Spider-Man (Tom Holland), weary and older; Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), plucked from a dying universe; Captain Carter, a hardened freedom fighter; and Reed Richards (John Krasinski), who warns of a final incursion—an unstoppable collapse of all remaining dimensions.
Elsewhere, a mysterious hooded figure known only as The Maker (an evil Reed Richards variant) secretly works under Doom, twisting science and sorcery to reshape Battleworld’s laws of physics.
But there's one key to saving existence: a girl named Clea (Charlize Theron), the daughter of Dormammu and the only being who can navigate the crumbling dimensional veil. She holds the map to the Axis Core, the heart of reality. And Doom wants it.
To resist Doom, Strange and Richards form a multiversal strike team:
– Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), whose jokes hide the trauma of watching his universe blink out.
– Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), resurrected with unstable chaos magic, seeking redemption.
– Loki, King of a fallen timeline, who claims to know how the war ends.
– Miles Morales, a young Spider-Man pulled from an animated universe, unsure if he even belongs.
Their mission: infiltrate Doomstadt, confront Doom, and reset the multiverse—at the cost of their own timelines.
Meanwhile, Doom, godlike and unshakable, is haunted by one thing: a variant of Tony Stark, imprisoned beneath his throne. Tony whispers warnings from a shattered Iron Legion, hinting that even gods can fall—especially when the people they rule still dare to hope.
On the eve of multiversal collapse, the armies of the multiverse gather: heroes, villains, monsters, and ghosts from every Marvel story.
The battle across Battleworld is unlike anything ever seen—Captain America variants riding winged Thors, Sentinel X-Men charging symbiote-powered Hulks, and portals flashing open to reveal Wakandan starships, Asgardian dragons, and even animated characters rendered in terrifying realism.
Strange and Wanda reach the Axis Core—but activating it means deleting all branching universes… including themselves.
In the throne room, Doom and Strange clash in a battle of sorcery and ego, while Tony Stark, bleeding and broken, hacks Doom’s Beyonder Core—giving Strange one chance to remake reality.
In a moment of sacrifice, Scarlet Witch holds back Doom's final spell while Strange activates the Axis Core. Wanda smiles as she vanishes: “Tell my boys… in every world, I loved them.”
Reality collapses. Then reforms.
The multiverse is reborn—but streamlined. A single sacred timeline now exists. Heroes have returned—but changed. The Fantastic Four are public figures. Mutants are known to the world. Spider-Men swing side by side in a rebuilt New York. And in a final moment…
A message plays in a quiet lab:
“Welcome to the Future Foundation.”
Standing in the shadows… a new Tony Stark. In the Void, Kang—multiple versions of him—watch Battleworld’s fall. “So it begins again,” one says. “But next time… I write the rules.”
